Hello, I’m Jake.

I'm a social impact consultant working at the nexus of public affairs, storytelling, media and communications.

Over the past ten 10+ years, I’ve worked with notable brands, top grassroots organizations, respected public servants, and exciting entertainment companies to make the world a better place.

Some of the world’s biggest organizations have trusted me with their news, their reputations, and their budgets, recognizing the unique mix of experience I bring at a fraction of traditional PR agency costs.

Throughout my career, those skills have included video production, media relations, crisis communications, social and digital strategy, grassroots organizing, project management, entertainment social impact and corporate social responsibility consulting.

I also have a strong background in public affairs, having worked for the administration and presidential campaign of Governor Bill Richardson, as an aide to Senator Jeff Bingaman on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and as press secretary for Senator Tom Udall. I’m a proud native New Mexican and grew up on an organic farm in Colfax County.

While my work has touched a broad spectrum of public policy issues, I’m most experienced with and passionate about environmental conservation, health and wellness, LGBTQ rights and government reform.

My education is rooted in the Jesuit & Holy Cross traditions of social justice, having received a B.A. in Political Science from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and a Masters of Professional Studies in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University.
